आरबीआई की स्वीकृति मिलते ही शुरू होगा बैंकों का संचालन
सहकारी बैंकों के विस्तार से ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में मिलेंगी बैंकिंग सेवाएं
देहरादून। प्रदेश के ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में बैकिंग सेवाओं के विस्तार को जिला सहकारी बैंक की 34 नई शाखाएं खोली जायेगी। सहकारिता विभाग ने विभिन्न जनपदों से प्राप्त नई शाखाएं खोलने के प्रस्तावों को मंजूरी दे दी है। नई शाखाओं के संचालन से दूरस्थ एवं ग्रामीण अंचल में आम लोगों को बेहतर व आधुनिक बैंकिंग सुविधा मिलेगी साथ ही सहकारिता की विभिन्न योजनाओं का लाभ भी मिल सकेगी।
सहकारिता मंत्री डॉ. धन सिंह रावत ने बताया कि प्रदेश सरकार सहकारिता के माध्यम से ग्रामीण अर्थव्यवस्था को मजबूत बनाने के लिए लगातार कार्य कर रही है। इसी उद्देश्य से प्रदेशभर में जिला सहकारी बैंकों के विस्तार का निर्णय लिया गया है। जिसके तहत प्रदेशभर में जिला सहकारी बैंक की 34 नई शाखाएं खोली जायेगी। डाॅ. रावत ने बताया कि विभाग को विभिन्न जनपदों से नई शाखाएं खोलने के कुल 41 प्रस्ताव प्राप्त हुए थे, जिनमें से 34 प्रस्ताव स्वीकृत कर दिये गये हैं, जबकि 7 प्रस्ताव अपूर्ण पाये गये। इनमें हरिद्वार जनपद के पांच प्रस्तावों को आवश्यक संशोधन के बाद पुनः प्रस्तुत करने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं।
विभागीय मंत्री ने बताया कि नई शाखाओं संचालन को स्वीकृत प्रस्तावों के तहत अल्मोड़ा जनपद में कुवाॅली, चमड़खाल तथा नागचुलाखाल में जिला सहकारी बैंक की नई शाखाएं खोली जायेगी। इसके साथ ही देहरादून जनपद में छिद्दरवाला, त्यूनी, भाऊवाला, मालदेवता, आईटी पार्क सहस्त्रधारा, पौड़ी गढ़वाला में नौठा, पौखाल, सिगड्डी, नैनीताल में ज्योलीकोट, कुसुमखेड़ा, हल्द्वानी (गैस गोदाम रोड़), पिथौरागढ़ में सूखीढांग, रीठाखाल, खिरमाण्डे, चन्डाक, जाखनी, टिहरी में धनोल्टी, मलेथा, पावकीदेवी, बगियालगांव, ऊधमसिंह नगर में पंतनगर, महुआडाबरा, सुल्तानपुरपटी, बगवाड़ा, नन्दपुर, खेमपुर, उत्तरकाशी में कोटधार, धारीकलोगी, सांकरी तथा चमोली जनपद में माईथान, लंगासू तथा नगरासू में जिला सहकारी बैंक की नई शाखा खोली जायेगी।
उन्होंने कहा कि वर्तमान में प्रदेशभर में जिला सहकारी बैंकों की 315 शाखाएं संचालित हैं। नई शाखाओं के शुरू होने से सहकारी बैंकिंग नेटवर्क और अधिक सशक्त होगा तथा किसानों, महिलाओं, स्वयं सहायता समूहों, लघु उद्यमियों एवं ग्रामीण उपभोक्ताओं को बेहतर वित्तीय सेवाएं उपलब्ध हो सकेंगी। इससे ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में आर्थिक गतिविधियों को गति मिलने के साथ-साथ सहकारिता आंदोलन को भी नई मजबूती मिलेगी।
सहकारिता मंत्री ने बताया कि विभागीय स्तर से सभी स्वीकृत प्रस्ताव भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक को भेज दिए गए हैं। आरबीआई की अनुमति प्राप्त होते ही नई शाखाओं का विधिवत संचालन प्रारंभ कर दिया जाएगा। उन्होंने विश्वास व्यक्त किया कि इन शाखाओं के खुलने से सहकारी बैंकों की पहुंच और व्यवसाय दोनों का विस्तार होगा तथा प्रदेश के ग्रामीण एवं सीमांत क्षेत्रों के समावेशी विकास को नई गति मिलेगी।
