देहरादून के 16 इलाके डेंगू हॉटस्पॉट घोषित, टीमें लगातार कर रहीं सर्वे
देहरादून। उत्तराखंड में लगातार बदलते मौसम और रुक-रुककर हो रही बारिश ने डेंगू के खतरे को समय से पहले बढ़ा दिया है। सामान्य तौर पर सितंबर में तेजी पकड़ने वाला डेंगू इस बार अगस्त की शुरुआत में ही स्वास्थ्य विभाग की चिंता का कारण बन गया है। बढ़ते मामलों को देखते हुए अस्पतालों में विशेष तैयारियां शुरू कर दी गई हैं और संभावित मरीजों के उपचार के लिए बेड आरक्षित किए गए हैं।
जिले में डेंगू संक्रमण के बढ़ते मामलों के मद्देनजर स्वास्थ्य विभाग पूरी तरह अलर्ट मोड में है। अब तक 50 लोगों में डेंगू की पुष्टि हो चुकी है, जबकि मौसम विशेषज्ञों का कहना है कि बीच-बीच में होने वाली बारिश और नमी भरा वातावरण एडीज मच्छर के प्रजनन के लिए बेहद अनुकूल साबित हो रहा है। ऐसे हालात में आने वाले दिनों में संक्रमण बढ़ने की आशंका जताई जा रही है।
संभावित मरीजों के इलाज के लिए जिले के 40 सरकारी और निजी अस्पतालों में कुल 1,530 सामान्य बेड और 132 आईसीयू बेड आरक्षित किए गए हैं। एम्स ऋषिकेश, राजकीय दून मेडिकल कॉलेज अस्पताल, जिला अस्पताल सहित सभी प्रमुख स्वास्थ्य संस्थानों को डेंगू से निपटने की तैयारियां पूरी रखने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं। साथ ही ब्लड बैंकों में पर्याप्त मात्रा में रक्त उपलब्ध रखने के भी निर्देश जारी किए गए हैं।
विशेषज्ञों के अनुसार डेंगू फैलाने वाला एडीज मच्छर मुख्य रूप से मादा मच्छर होता है, जो अपने अंडों के कारण अधिक ऊंचाई तक नहीं उड़ पाता। इसकी उड़ान क्षमता लगभग तीन फीट तक ही होती है और यह आमतौर पर सीमित क्षेत्र में सक्रिय रहता है। इसलिए घरों और आसपास पानी जमा न होने देना संक्रमण की रोकथाम के लिए सबसे प्रभावी उपाय माना जाता है।
मुख्य चिकित्सा अधिकारी डॉ. मनोज कुमार शर्मा के अनुसार जिले के 16 क्षेत्रों को डेंगू हॉटस्पॉट के रूप में चिह्नित किया गया है। इनमें बंजारावाला, पटेलनगर, क्लेमेंटाउन, मोथरोवाला, जाखन, मेहूंवाला, लक्खीबाग और माजरा सहित अन्य इलाके शामिल हैं। इन क्षेत्रों में स्वास्थ्य विभाग की टीमें लगातार सर्वे, लार्वा नष्ट करने और जागरूकता अभियान चला रही हैं। अधिकारियों ने लोगों से घरों के आसपास पानी जमा न होने देने, पूरी बाजू के कपड़े पहनने और बुखार आने पर तुरंत जांच कराने की अपील की है।
