निवेशकों को राहत की उम्मीद, पीएसीएल मामले में अब तक 5,602 करोड़ की संपत्तियां जब्त
नई दिल्ली। पीएसीएल (पर्ल्स एग्रोटेक कॉरपोरेशन लिमिटेड) से जुड़े बहुचर्चित मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग मामले में प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ईडी) ने बड़ी कार्रवाई को अंजाम दिया है। एजेंसी ने पंजाब के लुधियाना में हजारों करोड़ रुपये की अचल संपत्तियों को जब्त कर निवेश घोटाले पर शिकंजा और कस दिया है। यह कदम उन लाखों निवेशकों के लिए अहम माना जा रहा है, जो वर्षों से अपनी फंसी हुई रकम वापस मिलने की उम्मीद लगाए बैठे हैं।
लुधियाना में 3,436 करोड़ से ज्यादा की संपत्तियां जब्त
ईडी के दिल्ली जोनल कार्यालय ने धन शोधन निवारण अधिनियम (PMLA) के तहत लुधियाना जिले में पीएसीएल के नाम दर्ज 169 अचल संपत्तियों को अस्थायी रूप से कुर्क किया है। जांच में सामने आया है कि इन संपत्तियों की खरीद निवेशकों से जुटाई गई रकम से की गई थी। जब्त की गई संपत्तियों का कुल बाजार मूल्य 3,436.56 करोड़ रुपये आंका गया है।
सीबीआई की एफआईआर के आधार पर आगे बढ़ी जांच
यह कार्रवाई केंद्रीय अन्वेषण ब्यूरो (CBI) द्वारा दर्ज एफआईआर के आधार पर की गई है। सीबीआई ने पीएसीएल और पीजीएफ लिमिटेड के संस्थापक दिवंगत निर्मल सिंह भंगू सहित अन्य आरोपियों के खिलाफ आपराधिक साजिश और धोखाधड़ी की धाराओं में मामला दर्ज किया था। आरोप है कि कंपनी ने सुनियोजित तरीके से निवेशकों को गुमराह कर उनकी धनराशि का दुरुपयोग किया।
निवेश योजनाओं की आड़ में हजारों करोड़ की ठगी
ईडी की जांच में सामने आया है कि पीएसीएल ने सामूहिक निवेश योजनाओं के नाम पर देशभर से करीब 48 हजार करोड़ रुपये जुटाए। सुरक्षित निवेश और अधिक मुनाफे का लालच देकर लाखों लोगों को योजनाओं से जोड़ा गया, लेकिन बाद में यह राशि निजी संपत्तियां खरीदने और अन्य गैरकानूनी गतिविधियों में खर्च कर दी गई।
अब तक 5,602 करोड़ की संपत्तियां कुर्क
इस मामले में ईडी अब तक भारत और विदेशों में कुल 5,602 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक की चल-अचल संपत्तियों को जब्त कर चुकी है। एजेंसी ने साफ किया है कि जांच अभी जारी है और आने वाले समय में और भी संपत्तियों की पहचान कर कार्रवाई की जा सकती है। ईडी का मुख्य उद्देश्य निवेशकों की अधिकतम राशि की वसूली कर उन्हें वापस दिलाना है।
